Transportation of parts and materials from the stores around Newport
The stores branch in Centre Block were a busy place supplying the never-ending need for parts, material and equipment to all the worksites around Newport. One of the quickest and easiest ways of doing this was with a fleet of electric trolleys. Photo 1 shows a group of electric trolleys outside the stores ready to move parts and materials to worksites.
